Google authorization is optional and is used only when you choose Cloud Backup. Authenticator & Secure VPN requests your account email to identify the selected account and access to its own private Google Drive app-data folder to create, list, restore, and delete your encrypted backups.
The recovery code is not uploaded to Google. Matech Mobile cannot decrypt your backup or recover a lost recovery code.
